Last Chickens of the Season

We spent part of this week processing the last of our pastured chickens for the year. We’ll take a break from chickens over the winter. Our primary reason for seasonal chicken is to take advantage of fresh, green grass. Insects and pasture are much more abundant in Spring and Summer, so we can keep chickens outdoors.
