What is “Pastured Chicken”?

Our chickens aren’t raised in a chicken house. They live outside in the sunshine with grass under their feet. They eat insects, grass, minerals, salts, grains, and grit. We move the chicken pasture much like cows are moved to new pastures. We move ours twice each day, so that they are always on fresh grass. We believe this difference allows the chicken to live a better life and it makes for a tastier meal on your plate.

Is your produce organic?

Our produce is grown without chemical fertilizers and pesticides. We work hard to grow healthy plants from our own composts and matured horse manure. But we have not undertaken a USDA organic certification process. You’re welcome to visit the farm any time and see how we are growing things. We think it will meet your standards for fresh, healthy produce.
