We raise heritage breed pigs called Kune Kune (pronounced cooney cooney). The pigs are originally from New Zealand. Kune kune pigs are slow growing, taking a majority of their diet from grazing grass. The extra time on pasture pays off in flavor. You may be surprised to find the meat is not a pale white, but a rich red hue.
